Conewango Valley Man Taken To Hospital Following Accident In Sherman

SHERMAN – A Conewango Valley man was transported to an Erie, Pa., hospital following a rollover accident involving a feed truck Monday morning.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies and firefighters from the Stanley Hose Co. were dispatched around 7:30 a.m. to Route 76 in the town of Sherman. Police said Justin Raynor, 32, was southbound when he lost control of his feed truck. The vehicle left the road, struck the ditch and overturned onto the passenger side once it came back onto the road.

According to sheriff’s deputies, the truck again exited the road and traveled down a ravine. Raynor was taken to Hamot Medical Center in Erie for evaluation, police said.

Route 76 was closed for several hours between Bailey Hill Road and Interstate 86.

No further information into the accident was available.
