Poland Seniors Traveling To The Aquarium Of Niagara, Carousal Museum

Town of Poland Seniors will travel to the Aquarium of Niagara and Carousal Museum on June 25. Seniors attending will leave at 6:30 a.m. from the Kennedy Fire Hall, stop for a one-half hour breakfast in Gowanda at 6:30 a.m. and arrive at the aquarium at 9 a.m. A visit to Niagara Falls has been added.

The seniors will meet for a potluck lunch June 19. Those persons attending should take a dish to pass and their table service. Bonnie Piazza, Carolyn Wiemark and Rose Marie Cornwell will be the committee.

Thirty-eight members and one guest attended a potluck lunch in the Kennedy Fire Hall. Cliff and Liz Barnes, Bob and Sally Canniff and Shirley Schauers were the committee. Donna Cross led table grace, and Bob Cross called tables. New member Barb Finch was welcomed. Donna Cross, president, called the meeting to order, led the flag salute and song, accompanied on piano by Lou Ball. Reports by the secretary and treasurer were approved as read. A fundraiser was held and a thank you was read from the Kennedy United Methodist Church Mission for a donation of food for the food kitchen.

Celebrating birthdays were Cliff Barnes, Walt and Judy Heilman and Karen Lincoln.

The Chautauqua Shores presented a musical program.

Ms. Caniff spoke on the trip to Dover, Ohio.
