Kody Scott and Shelby Withers divided six hits in the win.

Roger Markham, Evan Newman, Hunter Edwards and Caleb Edwards all posted three hits in defeat.

MINORS DIVISION

The Lions scored four times in the top of the fifth inning and then held on to defeat JTA, 10-9, in a playoff game.

Ayden Bonta recorded three hits, and Mason Tomczak and Cooper Thomas two hits each for the winners, who came in sixth-seeded while the opponents were third-seeded.

Cole Simmons, Jayden Yanik and Matt Wilson had the hits for JTA.

Darius Freeney blasted his first home run of the season while John Lobb and John Torres drilled three hits as True Value beat Artone, 3-1.

Xavier Foust and Sean O’Brien stroked three hits while Christian DeJesus delivered two hits for Artone.

Zach Breeding delivered three hits and Raylynn Digirolamo and Katie Starks two as the Affinity Blue Jays defeated the Shults Rockies, 5-1.
