Six Taken Into Custody During Operation IMPACT Detail
Six Jamestown residents were taken into custody during an Operation IMPACT warrant service detail Friday.
Forty-five-year-old David E. Shaffer was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for second-degree menacing out of Jamestown City Court.
Thirty-eight-year-old Victor J. Cameron was taken into custody on warrants for petit larceny and violation of probation out of Jamestown City Court.
Twenty-eight-year-old Roberto Rodriguez-Cruz was taken into custody an a warrant for second-degree assault out of Jamestown City Court.
Nineteen-year-old Jeremy M. Smith was taken into custody on a warrant for fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny out of Jamestown City Court.
Nineteen-year-old Isaiah T. Pearson was taken into custody on a warrant for second-degree criminal contempt as well as a new charge of resisting arrest. Pearson attempted to flee officers who were checking a residence for him. A foot pursuit ensued and Pearson was apprehended.
Twenty-four-year-old Michael A. Lapp was taken into custody on a warrant for second-degree assault out of Chautauqua County Superior Court.
The five individuals taken into custody on city charges were taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment while Lapp was transferred to Chautauqua County Jail for an appearance in Chautauqua County Court.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted by New York State Police, Chautauqua County Probation and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
