Class Of ’66 To Meet June 15
WARREN, Pa. – The Warren Area High School Class of 1966 will hold a breakfast get-together at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Perkins Restaurant, Warren. Info On Stolen Puppies Sought
SINCLAIRVILLE – The owners of JNK Wildlife Sanctuary, 2185 Mill Creek Road, Sinclairville, are asking for the public’s help locating two Rottweiler puppies which were stolen Sunday, June 2, after 5 p.m. In the past, sale of the puppies has been used to help keep the sanctuary running. Anyone with information, is asked to call Jackie Wisniewski, founder and CEO, at 962-8545. All calls will be kept confidential.
The North Harmony United Methodist church will hold a Swiss steak dinner and bake sale today. Meals will be served from 4:30-6:30. The cost will be $8 for adults and $3.50 for children. Take-outs will be available. Proceeds will be used for church needs and mission outreach programs. The church is located on the Sherman-Stedman Road near the Woodcrest Golf Course.
Senior Report To Host Art Kinney
MAYVILLE – Senior Report with Reed Powers will have Art Kinney as the guest on today’s program. Kinney’s topic will be Chautauqua County history. The live, call-in program airs from 9-10 a.m. Saturdays. Individuals may call 753-5225 with questions or comments. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. The series highlights senior citizen club news for 15 minutes with the remainder of the hour-long program devoted to the featured guest. The guest is subject to change. Senior Report is shown live on Saturday mornings on Time Warner cable systems covering the following communities: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua, Fredonia, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton and Westfield on Channel 5. In Dunkirk, Falconer, Forestville, Hanover, Irving, Jamestown, Lakewood and Silver Creek the program is on channel 19. The show originates at the Access Channel 5 studio in Mayville.
The Lakewood Rod and Gun Club auxiliary meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Monday for a tureen dinner. Members attending should take a dish to pass. Lemonade and coffee will be provided. Guests are welcome to attend. Sandy Carlson and Coralynn Boehler will be greeters; and Pintagro and Marcia Johnson, helpers. Sign-up sheets for summer events will be available.
JPS Board To Meet Monday
The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. in the board room at 197 Martin Road to appoint the next superintendent of schools. The public is invited to attend.
