Brocton Man Charged Following Investigation
BROCTON – A Brocton man already incarcerated in Chautauqua County Jail has been charged following an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
The task force on Wednesday obtained an arrest warrant from Portland Town Court for Mark R. Dzielski, 27, of Ellicott Road. According a police report, Dzielski was wanted for the alleged sales of opiate-based pharmaceuticals in the village of Brocton.
The warrant was for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of controlled substance.
Dzielski was found to have been incarcerated at the County Jail on unrelated charges at the time of the investigation, police said. The Brocton resident is scheduled to be arraigned in Portland Court and remanded back to jail.
