Boe Brooks stroked a double and a single and Nolan Hunt added two hits as the Falconer Soaring Eagles nipped host Hamburg, 7-6.

Ryan Robson, Jeremy Cole, Adam Westley and winning pitcher Mike Wilcox did the pitching for the winners.

Falconer has a doubleheader Saturday, starting at 11:15 against the Jaworski Post of Lackawanna.

JAMESTOWN BABE

RUTH LEAGUE

Collin DePonceau and Chad Nelson fanned 14, walked four and allowed six hits as Peppy’s Dental downed Jamestown Savings & Bank, 4-2.

O’Neil Rosado stroked three hits and two RBIs and DaVante Strudwick two hits with a double in the win.

Lockett doubled for Jamestown Savings Bank. Logan Bellardo struck out eight in the setback.

Jon Sandstrom slapped out four hits as the Eagles Club turned back Chautauqua Mechanical, 13-7.

Matt Hill had a triple while Jake Zwieg and Kanin Tanner doubled for the Eagles.

Derek Foe and Kyle Stillson split four hits in the loss.

EAST LAKE 13-15 LEAGUE

Bryan Gardner and Tyler Himes tossed a two-hitter while Koby Carder drilled three hits with a home run as Stuart Tool & Die prevailed over 84 Lumber, 10-5.

Bryce Raymond and Gardner delivered two hits for the winners.

Sean Kubin and Seth Beckerink had singles for 84 Lumber.

VALLEY MAJORS LEAGUE

Matt Lessinger, Collin Barmore and Connor Crabtree hit home runs when the Gerry Jammers edged the South Dayton Yankees, 14-13.

Lessinger’s home run was his first grand slam of the season.

Dan Banach doubled and Kevin Hunt fanned six in defeat.

VALLEY MINORS LEAGUE

Carter Sisson, Kolton Gibbons and Zach Sisson fanned 12 and Carter Sisson contributed two hits with a two-run double as the Gerry Jammers dropped Cassadaga, 13-7.

Landon Mower had two hits in the winning cause. In defeat, P. Kellemer connected for three hits.

CAL RIPKEN MINORS

Cole Simmons, Mike Scalise and Jaden Yanik struck out 15 as JTA handed previously unbeaten Piazza’s a 14-5 defeat.

Simmons and Evan Christensen stroked three hits with one of Christensen’s being a double for the winners.

Ryan Eddy chipped in with a double and a single for JTA. Kyle Dean had two triples and Riley Piazza two singles in the loss.

JAMESTOWN MAJORS LEAGUE

Brett Dunham twirled a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts as Ecklof’s defeated Lena’s, 3-1.

Matt Rhodes of Ecklof’s delivered a double and a single while Salvador Carmona, Josh Loomis, Steven Glover, Gavin Card, Cory Falkowski and Dunham all contributed singles.

Chris Beardsley tripled and scored the lone Lena’s run.

Loomis had three hits, Dunham two doubles and Falkowski two hits when Ecklof’s trimmed the Southwestern Nationals, 16-9.

Rhodes, Carmona and Glover doubled in the win.

Chase Stevenson tripled among his three hits, Cameron Lunz tripled and Steven Ryan and Ethan Hatch added hits for the Nationals.

SOUTHWESTERN AREA SPORTS

ROOKIES LEAGUE

Brady Lindstrom and Jayden Work were the offensive players of the game and Lindstrom had a double as the Lakeshore Paving Indians prevailed over the Larson Orthodontics, 13-3.

Connor Tremblay was the defensive player of the game for the winners.

James Pirello was the offensive standout and Landon Cook the defensive star in the loss.

LITTLE LEAGUE

MAJORS DIVISION

Billy Piazza doubled and had two RBIs as A-Plus Heating topped Frewsburger, 9-6.

Nick Marsh and Aidan Cardone each had two hits for the winners, who received 2 innings of no-hit pitching from Mark Mammoser. Tommy Rhodes had two strikeouts in a hitless sixth inning for the save.

Aaron Hair had a two-run triple and Kaleb Bender had a two-run double in a five-run fifth inning for Frewsburger.
