Garage Sales Begin Friday

Falconer Business Association Villagewide Garage Sales will be held Friday and Saturday. Interested individuals may sign up at Falconer Vac Shoppe, 15 W. Main St., by 5 p.m., Wednesday. The cost is $5 to be listed on the garage sales map. Maps will be ready Thursday morning at Falconer Vac Shoppe.

Food Truck In Ashville Today

The Western NY Food Express Truck will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church today from noon until 1:30 p.m. and will reopen from 3:30-5. The truck brings mostly fresh produce. To receive the free food, one must show proof of address that he or she resides in one of the following zip codes: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767 or Stow 14785. Please bring your own bags.

Mayor To Host Tour Today

Mayor Sam Teresi will hold the next in his series of Neighborhood Walking Tours today at 6:30 p.m. This tour will cover George Avenue, Marlow Road, Fairfax Road and Loxley Court. The door-to-door visit will provide residents with an opportunity to express comments or concerns in a one-on-one environment with the mayor. Class Of ’73 To Meet On July 6

CASSADAGA – The Cassadaga Valley High School Class of 1973 will hold its 40th class reunion at 6 p.m. July 6 at the Cassadaga Country Club. There will be a cash bar with light munchies provided. The club’s dinner menu will be available at class members’ expense. No other payment is required. Outdoor Club To Hike Thursday

On Thursday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike 6 miles on the Forest Cathedral trails in Cook’s Forest. This will be a moderately strenuous hike. The hike will also lead hikers through the largest stand of old growth white pine and hemlock in Pennsylvania. Also on Thursday, club members will ride bikes from the Jamestown Audubon Center to Akeley for ice cream before returning to the center. Thule Lodge To Host Friday Dinner

BEMUS POINT – The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, will hold its Friday night dinner this week. The main menu will be a fish dinner, and the second choice will be city chicken. The dinner will be held from 5-7 p.m. and is open to the public. The Thule Lodge serves to preserve the Swedish heritage through events and activities.
