Lawrence J. “Larry” Ditonto Jr.

Lawrence J. “Larry” Di-tonto Jr. , 74, of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at The Hospice of Dayton.

Larry was the co-owner of D&D Computers Co., and worked as a regional sales manager for Hertz Supply Co.

He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, taught CCD religion classes for the high school, was a grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Huber Heights Rotary Club, and past president of Huber Heights JC’s and Lion’s Club.

Larry was a coach for Huber Heights baseball and softball, and was an avid softball, bowler, golfer and poker player. He was a lov-ing husband, father, papa, uncle and friend.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan; daughters and son-in-law: Deborah and George Baker of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Gina Laughlin of Bellbrook, Ohio; sons: Tom Ditonto of Washington D.C., and Tim Ditonto of Texas; sister, Delores Sieta; brothers: Alex, Richard and Joe Ditonto; 10 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of cherished friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, OH 45424 with Father Earl Simone, celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424.
