JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tory C. Arrance, 24, was charged at 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Officers were on patrol on Kinney Street when they noticed a vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident sitting in the middle of the street with no one around. Arrance was allegedly found to have been driving a vehicle that he took from a family member without permission and crashed into a parked car then fled the scene. He was taken into custody and was found to be intoxicated and had a revoked license. Arrance was being held pending arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

KIANTONE – Justin R. Samuelson, 27, of Prendergast Avenue, Jamestown was charged at 11:12 a.m. on Wednesday with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on Busti-Stillwater Road in Kiantone. Samuelson was taken into custody after an investigation for allegedly being intoxicated. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Kiantone Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Carl E. Weidner, 37, of East Main Street, Corry, Pa., was taken into custody at 1 p.m. on Wednesday on two warrants for petit larceny. On April 20 and May 16, Weidner allegedly entered Wal-Mart and selected merchandise and attempted to return items without paying for them. He is due in Busti Court on May 28 for arraignment.
