Parks Commission To Meet Today

The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will meet at 7 p.m. today at the Chautauqua County Airport, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Outdoor Club

To Ride Today

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes in the Frewsburg and Onoville areas today. Participants will meet at the TOPS Market in Frewsburg at 5:30 p.m. From there, bikes will be transported to Holmstead Park Campground on Saw Mill Road, then riders will continue on to Onoville for ice cream then on to Perimeter Road before returning to Frewsburg via Ivory Road. For more information, call Pat Spicer at 814-757- 8331, evenings. On Sunday, club members will hike in the Bully Hollow area near Tidioute. This will be an off-trail, shuttle hike, mostly downhill. Soil Board To Meet Today

The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District board will meet at 8:30 a.m. today in the district office, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Fundraiser

Set For Today

Women’s Services of Chautauqua County Pregnancy Resources will hold a fundraising spaghetti dinner at St. James Church at 27 Allen St., today from 4:30-7 p.m. The organization is a nonprofit pregnancy resource center offering programs and services to the community at no charge for 27 years. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased at the door. Dinner includes homemade spaghetti and meatballs, salad, bread and a beverage. Eat in and take out are available. There will also be a bake sale and basket raffle.

To Meet Friday

FALCONER – The May meeting of the Chautauqua County American Legion will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Henry Mosher Post 638 in Falconer. All legion members are welcome to attend.

Chicken Barbecue Set For Saturday

Festival Set

For Saturday

FALCONER – The Der Kobblers Automobile Association will be holding their sixth annual Festival In The Park Cruise In at Davis Park on West Main Street, Falconer, across from the Falconer Community Building, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Dash plaques will be given to the participants. There will also be a chicken barbecue, hot dogs and cold drinks for sale.

DEWITTVILLE -The Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church, Route 430 and Meadows Road, Dewittville, will hold its annual Memorial Day weekend indoor yard and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
