Cemetery Assn. To Meet Tonight

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Cemetery Association will have their annual meeting tonight at 7 in the community room in the Randolph Municipal Building. The public and lot owners are invited to attend.

Falconer Seniors To Meet Today

Falconer Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. today. A recent meeting, attended by 45 seniors and seven new members, was opened with a flag salute and prayer. A moment of silence was held for the victims of the Boston bombing. A display of exotic flowers was presented by Lucie and Muriel Casis. Receiving incentive awards were Jay Destro, Frank Foti, Dorothy Galati, Mary Pinzone and Mary Racitano. The meeting was adjourned by Josie Fonti, seconded by Carm Muscarella.

Library Trustees Meeting Set

ELLINGTON – The Farman Free Library trustees board will meet at 7 tonight in the Library Community Room, 760 Thornton Road, Ellington. This meeting is open to the public. For more information, call the library at 287-2945 or visit the website at www.cclslib.org/ellington.

Special Olympics Are Wednesday

The Special Olympics will be held Wednesday with opening ceremonies at 9:45 a.m. at Strider Field. Four hundred athletes and between 75 and 80 high school volunteers are expected to attend. In the event of rain, the event will be held Thursday. For more information, call 969-2060.

Fire Auxiliary To Meet Tuesday

GERRY – The Gerry Volunteer Fire Auxiliary will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Gerry Fire Hall. The scrap booking to be held Friday and Saturday will be discussed. Refreshments will be served, and a brief program will be given. All members are asked to attend.

Church To Host Proclaim Ministry

Lighthouse Baptist Church, 381 Camp St., Jamestown, will host the Proclaim Ministry Team from Pensacola Christian College at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The group features music, dramatic selections, testimonies and a DVD presentation about the college. The campus is located on the Gulf Cost of northwest Florida. It offers a variety of programs on the undergraduate, graduate and seminary levels. Beginning with just 100 students, it now has more than 4,000 students. There is no charge for the program. The public is invited to attend.

FALCONER – There will be a senior vigil meeting Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. for parents of Falconer Central School seniors in the Fenner cafeteria.

School Board To Meet Tuesday

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central School board will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the middle/high school library. The public is welcome to attend. Voting on the budget, bus purchases and board members will take place from 2-8 p.m. in the new gym lobby.
