City Man Charged After Falsely Reporting Robbery

A Jamestown man was charged early Wednesday for reporting a false incident.

City police responded to Willard Street for an alleged robbery complaint. Officers located Bradley S. Parker, 28, who advised police that three subjects attempted to rob him of his soft drinks but were unsuccessful.

According to a police report, officers had received similar complaints from Parker recently.

After police left the scene Wednesday, Parker then called 911 again and reported another incident. However, officers were in the immediate area and did not observe an occurrence at Parker’s residence.

The city resident was charged with third-degree falsely reporting an incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

He was awaiting arraignment.
