Warren Philharmonic To Perform Sunday
WARREN – The public is invited to attend a concert by the Warren Civic Orchestra, now known as the Warren Philharmonic, at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church.
Parking is in South Street Church parking lot, off of Pennsylvania Avenue East, and on Russell Street.
Bryan Eckenrode, musical director and conductor of the orchestra, will lead the musicians in a variety of pieces that include “Ruslan and Ludmilla” by Glinka and “Pomp and Circumstance” by Edward Elgar, as well as two trombone solo pieces.
Tickets are available at the door. Adult tickets are $10; Seniors are $5; Students are $5 and children ages 11 and younger are free.
The project was made possible through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Program of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency. It is paid for by the citizens of Pennsylvania through an annual legislative appropriation, and administered locally by the Arts Council of Erie, Inc. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
