More Gymnastics Success For Stroup’s Valone

Jesse Valone has been adding more awards to her collection over the past few weeks.

At the Lucky Stars Invitational at Jamestown Community College she took fourth place on floor exercise in the Platinum Xcell Division with a 9.225.

She was accompanied by two teammates, Cheyenne Mora and Remington Jensen, who competed as event specialists this season in the Platinum Xcell Division. More was eighth in floor with an 8.80 and sixth place on vault with an 8.425.

Valone went on to the Elmira Spring Fling to place in all four events and the all-around with scores of vault 7.75 (third place), bars 8.70 (second), beam 7.45 (fourth), floor 9.40, (first) and all around 33.30 (second).

She then went on to the Spring Graffiti held at the Niagara Court Center in West Seneca. There she placed 12th on bars with a 9.00 and fifth on floor with an 8.95.

Valone lives in Russell, Pa., and attends Eisenhower High School. More and Jensen live in Columbus, Pa., and attends Corry Junior-Senior High School. They all train at Stroup’s Gymnastics.
