Frewsburg Girls Roll To Div. 2 Win

CATTARAUGUS – Five players had three hits each as Frewsburg maintained its unbeaten status in Division 2 softball on Tuesday.

Sam Mott, Reyanne Strong, Shawna Raymond, Emily Hair and Karlee Foti all had three hits in a 19-hit attack as the Bears (8-0, 10-3) crushed Cattaraugus-Little Valley (5-3, 6-6), 20-4.

Among Mott’s hits was a two-run home run in the first inning when the Bears scored four to get off to a good start.

Strong also stroked a double and Alanna Blanchard hit a three-run home run in a five-run sixth.

Mott pitched six innings and Blanchard one in limiting the hosts to three hits.

Kaylee Eaton stroked two hits, including a two-run single, and Molleigh Bradley added the other hit at C-LV.
