Falconer FBLA Finds Success In Competition
FALCONER – The Falconer chapter of Future Business Leaders of America traveled to Rochester to compete at the state Leadership Conference.
The three-day trip included meetings, state officer campaigns, social activities and competitions. Students competed in more than 20 different events.
Mikaela Johnson, chapter historian, earned third place for her local chapter annual business report. Madelaine Bartholomew, Mikaela Johnson and Sha’al Smith earned second place in their community service project presentation. Their second-place finish earned them the right to represent New York state at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif., in June.
The Chapter of the Year competition requires chapters to submit a scrapbook of their yearly activities including photos, documents, and written summaries on the educational and professional development value of each activity. Falconer members accepted the seventh-place trophy in the competition.
