Marjorie Ann Uhlig
Marjorie Ann Uhlig, 80, of Coshocton, Ohio, formerly of Frewsburg, N.Y., passed away with her lov-ing family by her side on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Erie, Pa., to the late Chester and Grace Foster.
Marjorie was active in the Chautauqua County Heart Chapter in Jamestown, taught two’s and three’s Sunday school for years at the Christian Mis-sionary Alliance Church in Frewsburg, N.Y., loved spending time with her family, and she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband, Herman W. Uhlig, whom she married on Nov. 22, 1952; caring children: Gary (Alice) Uhlig of Sarasota, Fla., Patti A. Uhlig Eckberg of Jamestown, N.Y., Gael (Marc Romano) Uhlig of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Roger (Kelly) Uhlig of Kannapo-lis, N.C., and Pastor Rodney (Joann) Uhlig of Coshocton; nine loving grandchildren: Danielle and Adam Eckberg, Jordan (Leanne) Anderson, Jacob Uhlig, Shawn (Layla) Bur-ton, Amanda (Steven) Stow, Jody Renfer, Karissa and Kathryn Uhlig; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Donna Winkler of Erie, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters: Velma Greenman, Doris Foster and Vera Thompson; and two brothers: Jake Foster and Richard Foster.
A memorial service will be held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 60 Falconer St., Frewsburg, N.Y., on June 1, 2013, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Uhlig officiating.
Marjorie’s family will greet friends from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
