Organists To Play Sunday

The Chautauqua Chapter of the American Guild of Organists organ plus concert at 4 p.m. Sunday in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will feature Brandon Caruso, guest trumpeter, accompanied by Gail Espinoza, organist. Upper Crust Vocal Ensemble participants include Marly Kester, Alex Scalise, Sammy Scalise and Olivia Zabrodsky. Ron McEntire and Espinoza will perform organ solos. Andrew Schmidt, church organist and choir director, will conduct the Saint Luke Episcopal Choir and guest musicians in ”Alleluia” by Randall Thompson. A free-will offering will be taken, and a reception will follow in the church undercroft. The event is open to the public.

Rummage Sale Set For Saturday

Bethel Baptist Christian Academy, 200 Hunt Road, Jamestown, will host a rummage sale fundraiser Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the school.

Rummage Sale Begins Today

CHERRY CREEK – The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church on Main Street in Cherry Creek will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There will be a bag sale and bake sale all day Saturday.

Outdoor Club To Kayak Saturday

On Saturday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will kayak or canoe 10 miles on the Clarion River, from Portland Mills to Hallton. Attendees should bring their lunch and water. Also, one’s craft will need current boat registration to launch. Participants will meet at Howe’s True Value at 10 a.m. If the weather turns cool, under 60 degrees, or rainy, call the event leader to see if the float will be canceled. Free Rabies Clinic Is Saturday

KENNEDY – A free rabies vaccination clinic will be held Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the Town of Poland Highway Building, Grubb Hill Road, Kennedy. Vaccinations will be provided free of charge to all dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets three months of age and older. All pets must be on a leash or in a cage; and you should bring rabies vaccination records for each animal that will be receiving a shot. New York State Public Health Law requires each dog, cat and domesticated ferret over the age of four months be vaccinated against rabies. Sister To Sister Event Is Saturday

Dr. Norschenia W.P. Dobbs, evangelist, innovator, motivator, encourager and servant, will speak on “Hurting Women” at the Sister to Sister Conference beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Jamestown Hampton Hotel Conference Room. Water Contest Is Saturday

The title of “Best Tasting Drinking Water” in Chautauqua County for 2013 will be earned today at Chautauqua Mall. Voting will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. during the mall’s Annual Health & Fitness Expo.

Rummage Sale Set For Today

WESTFIELD – The Westfield United Methodist Church, 101 E. Main St., Westfield, will hold its spring rummage, clothing and bake sale today from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bag sale at noon Saturday.
