Salamanca Man Charged With Possession, Sale Of Drugs
SALAMANCA – A Salamanca resident is in Cattaraugus County Jail following an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
Micki L. Farnham, 26, of Highland Avenue, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
According to the sheriff’s office, the charges are a result of two separate incidents in which Farnham allegedly sold crack cocaine to another person in Salamanca.
A search warrant was executed at Farnham’s residence. More charges are pending as a result of the search and investigation, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Farnham was arraigned in Salamanca City Court and remanded to County Jail in lieu if $5,000 bail.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Salamanca Police Department and members of the New York State Police who were assigned to the drug task force.
