B&G Club Promotes Woleen
The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown has announced the promotion of Dianne M. Woleen to the position of assistant executive director for the local organization.
In making the announcement Boys & Girls Club of Jamestown Board President Rex McCray stated that “Dianne has done an exceptional job in a number of key staff positions with the Club and is a highly motivated individual. She has earned the respect of the entire staff, the board of directors, and most importantly the youth and families that we serve.”
Woleen has been employed with the Boys & Girls Club for 18 years, most recently as the agency’s program director and after school coordinator. Woleen has also served as a teacher, trainer and assistant principal at Holy Family Catholic School and coordinator for the Holy Apostles Parish Religious Education Department.
Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Jeff Kroon noted that “Dianne’s high level of energy, professionalism and true dedication to our mission will have a significant impact on program design and delivery, positive outcomes in youth services and staff development.”
Woleen is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and holds numerous certifications with the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo and the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, and has earned a New York State School Age Credential through Cornell University.
Living in Jamestown with her husband of 29 years, Randy, they have three sons: Zachary (Olivia) of West Virginia; and Jordan and Alexander, both of Jamestown.
