Lineup Changes For Comedy Show

There has been a change in the acts for tonight’s Wits n’ Giggles comedy show at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena. The show, taking place in the upstairs Arena Club from 6-9 p.m., will now feature co-headliners, Matt Bergman and Dan Mahoney. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for seating and drinks while food orders will be taken starting at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the comedy series are $12 today, and are available at the JSBA Box Office located at 319 W. Lakewood Legion To Host Band

LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood American Legion is hosting the Rustic Ramblers tonight from 7-11 p.m. The regular dinner menu featuring a prime rib special will be available. Reservations are appreciated by calling 763-1286.

Food Handler Class Planned

The next Chautauqua County Certified Food Handler Class will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, May 10, in the Chautauqua Suites, 215 West Lake Road, Mayville, NY 14757. Blood Drive Set For Saturday

ELLINGTON – A Community Blood Bank blood drive will be held at the Ellington Fire Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Early registration is available by calling Alyssa at 287-2038. Those who donate will be entered to win one of 10 Ellington Fire Department barbecue dinner certificates.

Church To Hold Spaghetti Dinner

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a spaghetti dinner Sunday from 12:30-4 p.m. Gluten-free dinners will be available. Take-out dinners are also available. The church is handicapped-accessible. There will be a free will offering to support youth camp.

Legion To Host Breakfast

CELORON – The breakfast committee from the Herman Kent American Legion Post 777 in Celoron, is holding the monthly breakfast at the post Sunday. The legion will have a full buffet with eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, French toast, Sausage gravy and Danish or a 777 three-egg omelet for only $6/adult, $3/kids 10 and under. Hours are 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Legion Offers Herring Breakfast

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg American Legion will host a spring herring breakfast from 8-11 a.m. on Sunday. The cost is $7. Eggs with ham or sausage will also be available for $6. Proceeds will be used to support functions at the legion post.
