Outdoor Club To Clean Up Roads

On Saturday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will take part in the Great American Cleanup of Pennsylvania at two area roads. One team will meet at 10 a.m. at the Morrison Trail parking lot and trailhead on Route 59 to clean a section of Route 59. On Sunday, club members will hike five miles in the Elijah Run area to an overlook of Kinzua Bay. Frewsburg Girls To Host Can Drive

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg girls softball team will hold a can drive from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Frewsburg High School parking lot. Players will also be collecting house to house in town. Donations are appreciated.

Rap Session Set For Saturday

The Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group will hold its monthly ”rap session” from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center auditorium, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. Library To Show Movie Today

FREWSBURG – Myers Memorial Library, Frewsburg, will show ”Black Beauty” as the free monthly movie at 3 and 6 p.m. today. The movie is an adaptation of the Anna Sewell novel told from the horse’s point of view. It is rated G and runs for 88 minutes. The event is sponsored by the Frewsburg Pharmacy.

Infinity To Hold SWAN Day

Infinity Visual and Performing Arts will hold the third annual SWAN Day Art Market, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Female artists and crafters of all mediums are invited to reserve a 4-by-6 space for $20 and participate in the SWAN Day Art Market. Thule Lodge To Meet Saturday

BEMUS POINT – The Thule Lodge, 4123 Pancake Hill Road, will meet Saturday at the lodge. Jeff Anderson, chairman, will conduct the business meeting beginning at 2 p.m. and refreshments will be served following the meeting. All members are welcome to attend. The Thule Lodge serves to preserve the Swedish heritage through events and activities. New members are welcome.
