CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

DUNKIRK – Michael Oscar, 37, was charged with driving while ability impaired and insufficient lamps. Deputies on Saturday at 1:30 a.m. stopped a vehicle on Central Avenue for having only one headlight. Oscar was found to be impaired by alcohol and possibly other substances. He was issued traffic tickets and is to appear in city court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Adreeanna L. Wallin, 20, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny. Wallin on Monday at 5 p.m. was observed placing items in Wal-Mart into her purse then attempting to leave the store. She was detained by loss prevention personnel and turned over to police where she was issued an appearance ticket.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kenneth C. Emery Jr., 42, of Bourne Street was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, improper turn, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. Police on Saturday at 2:37 a.m. observed a vehicle make an improper turn onto East Main Street, nearly striking the curb. Emery was later found to be intoxicated. He will be in Westfield Court at a later date.

Joseph R. Cornelius, 34, of Erie, Pa., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speeding. Police on Sunday observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed for a zone. Cornelius was found to have a suspended driver’s license in New York. He will be in court at a later date.

Austin Solo-Sakss, 19, of Jamestown was taken into custody on an active bench warrant out of Westfield for failure to appear in court. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail and will be in court at a later date.

James T. Gross, 26, of East Main Street, was charged with speeding, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. Police on March 31 stopped a vehicle for a violation. Gross reportedly did not listen to officers and began yelling. Gross became combative and was taken into custody. He was remanded to County Jail.

Carl Walker, 48, of Knox, Pa., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. A vehicle on March 29 was observed crossing the yellow and hazard lines multiple times. Walker was found to have a suspended license. He will appear in court at a later date.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Richard J. Emley, 42, of Portville was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a pre-screen device and driving with no headlights. Emley was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Saturday. He was processed and will appear in court at a later date.

LEON – Jeremy M. Booker, 30, of Holly Hill Court, Randolph was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, failure to keep right and open container of alcohol. Booker was processed and will be in court at a later date.

RANDOLPH – David J. Miller, 19, of Riga Road, Conewango Valley was charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief. Miller was taken into custody on a warrant and arraigned in Randolph Court.
