Fredonia Resident Charged After Running Drivers Off Road

POMFRET – A Fredonia resident spotted driving erratically has been charged with drunken driving.

Dunkirk police and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday around 3:30 p.m. received numerous reports of an erratic driver. Police were notified that the driver was running other motorists off the road.

According to a police report, Robbin D. Hill, 55, of Chautauqua Road, was located by Dunkirk police on Farel Road in the town of Pomfret. Sheriff’s deputies also responded to the scene.

Following an investigation, Hill was found to be intoxicated.

Hill was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. Hill was later released to family members and will appear in Pomfret Court at a later date.
