Benjamin P. Miller, 55, of 20 Franklin St., Jamestown was charged at 10:58 p.m. on Thursday with second-degree menacing, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and aggravated family offense. Jamestown Police responded to 20 Franklin St. for a 911 call. Upon arrival, officers found Miller inside the residence. Miller was found to be involved in a domestic dispute and intoxicated. Miller possessed a shotgun that was found in the bedroom of the residence along with ammunition and he did make threats to harm his partner during an argument causing her to fear for her life. He was charged and transported to City Jail where he is awaiting arraignment.


CARROLLTON – Donald Watson, Jr., 31, of 515 Main St., Limestone,was charged at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, after an investigation conducted by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office members and New York State Police members assigned to the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. The charges were a result from two separate incidents where Watson sold crack cocaine to another person in the city of Salamanca. Watson was arraigned in the town of Carrollton Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.


YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – A 15-year-old Youngsville High School student was charged with two counts of harassment and one count of criminal mischief Thursday at 7:48 a.m. Police say the female student became involved in a physical confrontation with the assistant principal and another employee. The student allegedly pushed and punched both victims and then threw a chair through a wall causing minor damage.
