City Man Faces Drug Charge

A Jamestown man is in Chautauqua County Jail following a Thursday afternoon drug bust.

Zaid I. Mendoza, 34, has been charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance after Jamestown Police Department investigators executed a search warrant at 905 Prendergast Ave. at 1 p.m. Thursday. Investigators and the New York State Police’s Community Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a several months-long investigation into the sale of crack cocaine at the location.

The investigation into the trafficking and sale of crack cocaine in the Jamestown area is continuing and more arrests are expected.
