Clymer-Sherman-Panama Boys Win Track Meet With Depth

CLYMER – Host Clymer-Sherman-Panama used its depth to win its boys track opener over Cattaraugus-Little Valley, 74-67, on Tuesday afternoon.

The Pirates were in first in all three relays – the 3,200 (9:08.5), the 400 (47.7) and the 1,600 (3:57).

CSP also took firsts in the field events with wins in the high jump (5-8) by John Luden, the triple jump (34-4) by Dan Odell and the shot put (35-5) by Jon Spacht.

Josh Juenemann of C-LV won the 100 (11.6), the 400 (54.8), the 200 (23.6) and the long jump (18-8). Teammate Jerema Solecki captured the 110 high hurdles (18.6) and 400 hurdles (1:04.7).

FIVE CARDS DOUBLE

RANDOLPH -Five Randolph Cardinals were double winners in a successful season’s opener.

Jared Pitchford, Skyler Schapp. Zachary Jackson, Zack Myers and Mike Bowers all doubled as the Cardinals easily prevailed over Westfield, 107-30.

Pitchford claimed the long jump (19-1) and the triple jump (37-10), Schapp the pole vault (7-0) and 3,200 (11:35.4), Jackson the 1,600 (5:09.8) and the 800 (2:07.5), Myers the 100 (11.6) and the 200 (24.4) and Bowers the shot (40) and the discus (105-2).

Jordan Imm was a double winner for Westfield in the high jump (5-6) and in the 110 high hurdles (18.1).
