Carroll Seniors To Meet Monday

FREWSBURG – The Carroll Senior Citizens will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Frewsburg American Legion Building for a soup and sandwich luncheon. The cost is $5 per person and reservations must be made by Thursday by calling Mary Himes at 569-6110. The luncheon will be followed by the regular meeting at 1 p.m. with the Nominating Committee announcing the new slate of officers for the upcoming year.

Junior Falcons To Meet Thursday

The Falconer Junior Falcons will have an open board meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and will be at the Falconer Moose Lodge.

Outdoor Club To Hike Thursday

On Thursday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike five miles on the trails in the Cornplanter State Forest near Tionesta. Participants will meet at the trailhead at 1:30 p.m. From Tionesta, cross the Allegheny River on the Route 36 Bridge. Turn right on the other side of the river and drive north two miles on Route 36 north. Turn right on Neiltown Road and drive one mile to the Cornplanter sign and parking area. Ripley Board To Meet Thursday

RIPLEY – A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Ripley Central School District will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Distance Learning Room, of the Ripley Central School, for the purpose of any and all items that come before the board.

Anniversary Event Planned

An open house celebrating the 50th wedding anniversary for Bill and Donna Lesansky will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday in the North Harmony Senior Center. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the event which is being given by their family.

TOPS Members Weigh In, To Meet

Twenty-four TOPS 721 Jamestown members weighed in recently, and best losers were Steve Crawford, TOPS, who received free dues and Janice Eckberg, KOPS. Jackie Anderson, Mary Gould and Darrylin Sperry were prize winners. Punch card winners were Pat Smith, Cindy Williams and Mary Moore. Connie Foyeq presented a program on exercise. The thought is that we are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit. Chapter weigh-in is 8:30-9:30 a.m. each Thursday, followed by a meeting, in the Kidder United Methodist Church, corner of South Main Street and Cole Avenue. For more information, call 763-4626.
