Nancy J. Peterson

STEAMBURG, N.Y. –

Nancy J. Peterson, 73, of

Steamburg, passed away

Saturday, April 6, 2013, in

Heritage Village, Gerry,

after a long illness.

Born May 31, 1939, in

Olean, she was a daughter

of Charles V. and Charlotte

V. Williams Tyler. On Aug.

15, 1957, in Allegany, she

married Francis N. “Pete”

Peterson, who survives.

Mrs. Peterson attended

school in California and

Allegany.

She was a member of the

Steamburg United Methodist

Church. She enjoyed

quilting, sewing, crocheting

and listening to gospel

music.

Surviving besides her

husband are two sons: Jeffrey

A. (Diane) Peterson of

Streamwood, Ill., and Patrick

M. Peterson of Lake

Stevens, Wash.; four

grandchildren; three great-

-grandchildren; three brothers:

Charles R. Tyler of Olean,

Larry D. (Rita) Tyler of

California, and Gary L.

(Pamela) Tyler of Brazil;

and several nieces and

nephews.

In addition to her

parents, Mrs. Peterson was

predeceased by a daughter,

Jennifer Monica Peterson.

St., Shinglehouse, Pa., on

Tuesday, April 9, 2013,

from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at

which time funeral services

will follow. Chaplain Sam

Shreffler of the Heritage

Ministries, Gerry, will

officiate. Burial will be in

Myrtle Cemetery, Myrtle,

Pa.
