CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

FALCONER – Joshua M. Ross, 24, of North Work Street was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Deputies on Tuesday at 6 p.m. conducted a warrant check in an attempt to locate Ross, who was wanted for allegedly selling a controlled substance. He was located at the residence and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Stephen D. Lahnen II, 33, of Marin Park Drive, Celoron was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, unsafe start, moving from lane unsafely and wrong way on a one-way street. Officers on Wednesday at 1:54 a.m. observed a Ford pickup truck make an unsafe start on North Main Street before turning the wrong way onto a one-way street, forcing another motorist off the road. Lahnen was allegedly found to be intoxicated and transported to city jail. He was being held pending arraignment.

Demetrius L. McBride, 28, of Buffalo was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. Officers on Wednesday at 7:48 a.m. were dispatched for a report of a suspect trying to gain entry into an apartment. Police learned McBride allegedly broke a window out of the complainant’s door. McBride was found at another residence and charged.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joseph D. Anthony, 42, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se and aggravated DWI following a traffic stop on Fairmount Avenue. He was issued appearance tickets for the charges and released to Jamestown police on an unrelated bench warrant.

Mark G. Watson, 22, of Robinson Avenue, Jamestown was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Officers on March 24 were dispatched for an incident. A quantity of marijuana was allegedly found. Watson is scheduled to be in court at a later date.
