Food Truck To Deliver Today

The Western New York Food Express Truck will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church from noon to 1:30 p.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. today. Proof of address is required for free food, which is mostly fresh produce. Cemetery Cleanup Set For April 15

FREWSBURG – Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg, will begin its spring cleanup on April 15. Any wreaths or decorations not removed will be disposed of by cemetery officials.

Museum Trip Deadline Extended

The date has been extended to Thursday to sign up for a trip to the Warther Museum in Dover, Ohio. The trip is on April 30. Any senior citizen is eligible to attend. Lunch will take place at the Dutch Valley Restaurant in Ohio. Cost is $83 per person. Those interested are asked to call Sally Canniff at 358-4978 or Val Nunn at 665-3071.

Sherman Pre-K Sign-Up Begins

SHERMAN – Sherman Central School will offer a universal pre-kindergarten program for the 2013-14 school year. The program will provide age-appropriate, educational activities for 4-year-olds. All students need to live in the Sherman School District and must turn 4 years old by Dec. 1, 2013, in order to qualify for the program. Proof of proper immunization and birth certificate are required. Applications have been mailed to families included on the school census. Those who have not received an application in the mail should call 761-6121 to request one.

Thrift Shop Is Ready For Spring

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., Jamestown, is filled with spring colors and seasonal clothing styles in all departments. Spring hours start this week with the shop open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Donated items are received on those days as well as 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays. Proceeds from the shop, which is run by volunteers from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church as well as RSVP and the community, are donated to local outreach programs.

Warren Class Of 1966 To Meet

WARREN – The Warren Area High School Class of 1966 will hold a lunch at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, in the Warren County Career Center, located next to the high school. The career center will close its diner in order to accommodate the class. The cost of this sit-down, professionally served meal is $7 per person and will include soup, entree, desert and coffee, all in a restaurant setting. Marco Polo Club To Host Dinner

The Marco Polo club will host a spaghetti dinner April 13 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. The club is located at 1027 E. Second St.
