Martha M. Lauritson
FREWSBURG, N.Y. – Martha M. Lauritson, 84, of 30 Rice Ave., Frewsburg, died at 4 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in War-ren, Pa.
She was born June 4, 1928, in Ellery Center, the daughter of Orville and Irene Persons Seekings.
She graduated from Falconer High School, June 24, 1946. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her two sons: Harvey O. (Jan-ice) Lauritson of Frewsburg, N.Y., and Dr. George A. (Sun) Lauritson of St. Robert, Mo.; a sister, Theo-na Babcock of Jamestown, N.Y.; five grandchildren: David, Christopher and Ty Lauritson and Richard Hayes II and George Lauritson Jr.; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Harvey H. Lauritson, whom she married Aug. 17, 1946, in Falconer, N.Y., and who preceded her Aug. 5, 2009; a daughter, Barbara Crissman in 2000; and a sister, Laura Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at VanRenssalaer & Son Funeral Home, Randolph, N.Y., with visitation one hour prior to the service with the Rev. James Mitchener, retired pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in James-town, N.Y.
