CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ELLERY – Charles T. Glenn, 21, of Bemus Point, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater, refusing a pre-screen breath test, failure to reduce speed on a curve and failure to keep right. Deputies on Saturday at 3:42 a.m. responded to a report of a single-car accident. Glenn was found to have taken a corner too fast and lost control of his vehicle, which crossed the center line and rolled onto its side. Glenn was later found to be intoxicated and was released to appear in Ellery Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Michael A. Gajkowski, 31, of Pontiac Road, Angola, was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Gajkowski was stopped on Sunday at 1:50 a.m. for failure to keep right and was found to have a suspended license. He was issued appearance tickets and will be in court at a later date.
POMFRET – Shaun Scriven, 32, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated- common law, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and speeding. Deputies on March 28 at 10:48 p.m. stopped a vehicle for speeding on Webster Road. Scriven was found to be intoxicated. He was released with traffic tickets and is to appear in court at a later date.
David A. Brown, 22, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police on Saturday at 9 p.m. stopped a vehicle for a brake light out on East Fifth Street. Brown was found to be in possession of a push-button spring-loaded switch blade. Brown was transported to Jamestown City Jail.
Thomas M. Pereira, 31, of Oak Street, was charged with open container violation. Officers on March 29 at midnight observed Pereira walking with an open container of alcohol. He was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court at a later date.
Matthew Sandberg, 31, of Chapman Beach Road, Westbrook, Conn., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator and speeding. Officers on Friday at 8:28 p.m. observed a vehicle speeding on Main Street. Sandberg’s license was found to be suspended. He will be in Westfield Court at a later date.
Carl Walker, 48, of Thompson Hill Road, Knox, Pa., was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and failure to maintain lane. Officers on Friday at 10 p.m. observed a vehicle on Academy Street cross the center line and white hazard marking several times. Walker’s incense was found to be suspended. He will appear in court at a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
FALCONER – Jaimee Mix, 38, was charged with driving while intoxicated. Mix was stopped on Route 60 for a traffic violation. She failed several field sobriety tests and was later transported to police barracks in Jamestown where she provided a BAC of .12 percent. Mix was processed, issued appearance tickets and released to a sober individual.
