Peterson Named To Power 200

a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, one of the region’s best-known law firms, has been named to Business First’s Power 200 – a list of the most influential people in Western New York.

The publication recognizes Western New York decision-makers across a wide range of business sectors. Nominations came from a variety of sources, including Business First readers and staff. A five-member panel scored each nominee on a four-point scale. Those scores were used to bring the nominees to 200 names. Peterson ranked No. 155.

The office leader of Phillips Lytle’s Chautauqua office, Peterson focuses in all areas of real estate, including development and financial transactions, areas of corporate counseling including acquisitions, administration and strategic planning, nonprofit corporate formation, tax exemption and qualification with New York state administrative areas.

Listed in The Best Lawyers in America, he received his B.A. from Allegheny College and his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.

An active member of the community, Peterson co-founded and serves on the board of directors of the Robert H. Jackson Center. He also serves on the board of directors for The Resource Center Foundation, and serves as chairman of the executive committee for Jamestown Professional Baseball.
