Area Police Reports


Jay R. Peck, 43, of Walnut Street was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense. Officers on Thursday at 1:45 a.m. responded to the Hampton Inn, West Oak Hill Road, for a report of a disorderly male and female. Police learned there was a valid order of protection for Peck to stay away from the female. Records showed that Peck had a previous conviction of criminal contempt. He was being held in Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment.


Robert M. Greenman, 57, of Bourne Street, Westfield, was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana. On March 23 at 2 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Bourne Street for a traffic violation. Greenman was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was in possession of marijuana. He was to appear in Westfield Court at a later date.


PORTLAND – Leonard J. Erhard, 35, of Webster Road, Westfield was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument. Deputies on Wednesday at 11:13 p.m. stopped a vehicle on Route 20 for a traffic violation. Erhard, a passenger in the vehicle, was allegedly found to be in possession of multiple hypodermic instruments. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Westfield Court. Erhard was sent to Chautauqua County Jail and will be back in court at a later date.


SALAMANCA – Travis W. Pratt, 34, of Clinton Street was charged with violating probation. He was taken to Cattaraugus County Jail to await further proceedings.

SOUTH VALLEY – Robert L. Houghwot Jr., 38, of Sawmill Run Road, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Deputies found the marijuana after they responded to his residence for a domestic incident. Houghwot will be in court at a later date.
