Churches To Host Family Dinner
LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood and Ashville United Methodist churches will host a family dinner to celebrate Palm Sunday. The dinner will follow the 11 a.m. service at Lakewood United Methodist Church. Ham and scalloped potatoes will be provided. Anyone attending is asked to bring a salad, vegetable or pie to share. Anyone interested in attending is asked to make a reservation by Wednesday by calling 763-9345.
Parent Network Plans Training
The Parent Network of WNY and The Advocacy Center will present “Transition for Families” from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, in The Olean BOCES Distance Learning Room, 1825 Windfall Road, Olean. The goals of this training are to ensure that parents, family members and students can work with their CSE to assess their child’s strengths, interests and needs, establish measurable goals for life after high school and identify appropriate transition services and coordinated activities. This workshop is sponsored and funded by the Parent Network of WNY, NYSED.gov and The Advocacy Center.
Lenten Services End Wednesday
The First Presbyterian Church of Jamestown, 509 Prendergast Ave., will present the last in a series of Lenten midweek services at noon on Wednesday. Kirstie Hanson will preach on “Pilgrimage: Past, Present, Onward!” in the church’s Bellinger Chapel. Lunch will be served in fellowship, following worship.
After-Prom Group To Meet
FALCONER – The Falconer After-Prom Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the eighth-grade project room. Spots are filling up quickly to work that night so if you plan on helping out please try to attend this meeting or email Rosie Digirolamo@falcon.wnyric.org. Parents of any grade students are invited to help out. Parents of 11th- or 12th-grade students who have not sent in their photos should do so before spring break. Photos of seniors are still on file. Anyone who wants to make a donation can make checks out to Falconer After-Prom and send them to the Falconer Central School health office.

Auxiliary To Gather
BUSTI – The Busti Fire Department Auxiliary will meet today at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. All members try to attend with ideas for fundraising events.

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. today at the IDA offices, 200 Harrison St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
Easter Egg Hunt Set For Saturday
GERRY – The town of Gerry will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Gerry Town Park, Wilson Street.
