BEMUS POINT – John Galloway, 69, of 3682 Route 430, died Saturday (March 16, 2013) at his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1944, in Waterberry, Conn., the son of Moncrieff and Madelyne Brown Galloway Sr. He was a 1962 graduate of Warren High School.
He had worked at Remco Construction, National Forge, and owned and operated Galloway Construction in Frewsburg.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard, Carroll Rod and Gun, Samuel Derby Post 556 American Legion, Frewsburg, and the Fluvanna VFW.
John is survived by three children: Sean Galloway of Warren, Shannon (Josh) Gilevski of Frewsburg, and Laura (Dennis Frangione) Galloway of Kiantone; seven grandchildren: Carrie Galloway-Evans, Logan and Alexis Galloway, Tiffany and Crystal Work, and Grace and Graham Gilevski; three brothers: Moncrieff (Ann) Galloway II of Bemus Point, Bruce (Brenda) Galloway of Grants Pass, Ore., and Peter Galloway of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sisters: Madelyne Tucker of Walbash, Ind., and Gail (John) Forrester of Largo, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents.
No visitation or services will be observed.
