Lenten Service Is Wednesday

First Presbyterian Church continues its Lenten midweek services on Wednesday. Member Sherra Babcock will preach on her “Pilgrimage: Past, Present, Onward!” at noon in Bellinger Chapel. Lunch is served after worship. The church is located at 509 Prendergast Ave., Jamestown.

Library Trustees To Meet Today

STOCKTON – The Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library trustees board will meet at 4 p.m. today in the library.

JCA To Present Guitarist Friday

The Jamestown Concert Association’s fourth concert of its 2012-13 season will be Friday at 8 p.m. in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Classical guitarist Paul Galbraith will perform. Pancake Breakfast Set For Sunday

South Dayton Boy Scout Troop 257 and Venture Crew 257 will be holding an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Sunday. This breakfast will be held at the South Dayton Fire Company Activities Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children 4 and under are free; ages 5 to 12 will be $5; anyone 13 and over will be $8. Breakfast includes pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage. Available drinks are coffee (regular and decaf), tea, hot chocolate, water, orange juice, apple juice and tomato juice. Takeouts are available.

St. Joseph Table Is Sunday

Holy Apostles Parish, St. John Church, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown, will hold its annual St. Joseph Table and spaghetti dinner from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. The cost is $7 for adults; $5 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Takeouts will also be available; call 484-8554. Also featured will be homemade Italian breads, cannoli and cookies.

Nominations Set For March 21

Nominations and elections for delegates for the 2013 Independent Order of Vikings Convention will be held at the Ingjald Lodge No. 65 meeting on Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m.

Outdoor Club To Gather

TIDIOUTE – On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike or ski the River Trail in Tidioute. Participants will meet at the sewer plant parking lot at 2 p.m. After the hike the group will eat at the Hummingbird Restaurant in Tidioute. For more information, call Dave Hoffman at 814-484-3207

Rec Commission To Meet March 19

SALAMANCA – The Salamanca Recreation Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 to consider requests received for the use of city parks and baseball/softball fields for the 2013 season.
