Dunkirk’s Nance Named Division 1 Player Of Year

Khee Nance of Dunkirk celebrated her senior season by being named the most valuable player in Division 1 girls basketball.

Nance averaged 20.2, eight rebounds and 2.4 assists en route to the top honors.

Senior teammate Lacey Clark, Maggie Moore and Sara Ziegler of Section 6 champion Olean, Alexa Farner of Gowanda, Morgan Genovese of Fredonia and Halee George of Allegany-Limestone comprise the rest of the first team.

Only Genovese, a sophomore, is an underclassmen.

Brandie Fuller of Allegany-Limestone was the Sportsmanship award winner.

The second team is made of senior Emily Bantelman, Kaylee Pearl and Rachel Painter of Olean, Alex Sullivan and Jenna Yuchnitz of Southwestern, Shannon Gunnell of Falconer and Katie Scott of Allegany-Limestone.
