Jamestown Woman Charged For Biting Officer, Criminal Mischief
A Jamestown woman is being held by police after allegedly biting an officer and causing damage to a patrol vehicle.
Mallory C. White, 20, was charged after police on Monday at 7:30 a.m. were dispatched to a criminal mischief complaint on East Second Street. An unknown female was said to have destroyed a garage door and left the scene.
White was found a short time later and was identified as the subject. Police said White became unruly during the transport and purposely damaged the rear door of the transporting patrol car.
While inside City Jail, White continued being violent, police said. During booking she then allegedly bit an officer, causing physical injury.
White was charged with third-degree criminal mischief for damaging the garage door and second-degree assault for biting the officer. She was being held pending arraignment.
