Seniors To Meet For Dinner

CASSADAGA – The Stockton-Cassadaga-Lily Dale Senior Citizens St. Patrick’s Day dinner meeting will be at noon on today in the Cassadaga Country Club.

Cemetery Seeks Lawn Care Deal

SINCLAIRVILLE – The Evergreen Cemetery Association Board of Trustees met on March 4. The association is seeking bids to provide seasonal lawn care to the Sinclairville Cemetery location. Interested parties may obtain a bid proposal application and expectations by contacting Secretary Betty Ridout (962-2309) or may respond to PO Box 802, Sinclairville, NY 14782. Deadline is April 8.

Poetry Reading Slated For Olean

OLEAN – American feminist author Katha Pollitt will hold a poetry reading at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Cutco Theater on Jamestown Community College’s Cattaraugus County Campus in Olean. The program, free and open to the public, is funded by the Katharine Jackson Carnahan Endowment for the Humanities, JCC Cattaraugus County Campus Program Committee, Olean Public Library and the New York State Council on the Arts. Dinner Benefit Set For Saturday

HARTFIELD – A spaghetti dinner benefit will be held for Pam Smith from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, in the Hartfield Fire hall, Elmwood Road, Hartfield, to help with medical expenses for a recent surgery done by a surgeon in Texas. A Chinese auction will be held and prizes awarded. The cost is $8 for age 13 and up; $5 for children, ages 6 to 12; and free for children age 5 and under.

M.S. Group To Hold ‘Rap Session’

The Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group will hold its monthly ”rap session” from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center auditorium, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. This open discussion support group meeting is available to all those dealing with MS, their family and friends. AARP Group Plans Trip

Salamanca AARP will take a daytrip to Erie, Pa. on April 9 for an audience-interactive comedy theater experience.
