Kennedy Grange To Hold Chili Cookoff Friday

KENNEDY – Kennedy Grange 496 met recently at the Clarks Corners Community Church, with Master Raymond Wiltsie presiding.

The minutes of the last meeting and the last Pomona notes were read by the Janice Eccles, secretary, and discussed.

It was reported that Jan Eccles, Donna Cross, Eunice Speta and Barb Wiltsie visited the Frewsburg Rest Home on Valentine’s Day and delivered the many Valentine’s and cookies made by members of the Grange to most appreciative residents and staff.

The members decided on having the “Chili for Charity” cookoff at Friday’s meeting. Each member should bring a pot of chili, and the money received from judging the contest will be given to the winner’s favorite charity.

A reading was read by the lecturer on proper use of slow-moving-vehicle signs, and members played a Valentine’s game.
