Robert C. “Bob” Jacky

RANDOLPH, N.Y. – Robert C. “Bob” Jacky, 63, of Center Street, Randolph, passed away Tuesday (March 5, 2013), at home from natural causes.

Mr. Jacky was born April 4, 1949, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of the late Carl and Gretchen Fortner Jacky.

He was a graduate of Port Allegany High School in Port Allegany, Pa., and of the Taxidermy Institute.

Bob was a self-employed taxidermist and operated Fur & Feather Taxidermy in Randolph, for many years. He had also worked for Quality Markets in Randolph, where he was the meat department manager, butcher, and head of training for all of the Penn Traffic Division Stores. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 181 in Randolph. Bob was a champion breeder of Blue Tic Hounds and was a certified professional guide for hunting and fishing, passions that he also enjoyed doing in his spare time in addition to trapping. He was a former member of Levant Wesleyan Church in Falconer, N.Y.

He is survived by two sons: Robert “Rob” Jacky and companion, Tina Patterson and Raymond “Ray” Jacky of Taylor, S.C.; a daughter, Casey Jacky in the United States; and a sister, Rose Marie Deering of Las Vegas, Nev.

He was preceded by an infant sister.

At Bob’s request visitation and funeral services will not be held.
