CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Sara N. Miller, 20, of 18 Buffalo St., Jamestown, was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree welfare fraud. Police said Miller was living out of state from March to July 2012 and allegedly received $1,000 in SNAP/food stamp benefits that she was not entitled to receive. She is scheduled to appear in City of Jamestown Court at a later date.
HANOVER – Brandon P. Orlando, 28, of Fredonia was charged with failure to keep right, driving across hazard markings, driving while intoxicated common law and DWI per se. On March 1 at 8:21 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle on Route 39 in the town of Hanover cross the center line and hazard line of the roadway several times. Following a traffic stop, Orlando was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was released with traffic citations and will be back in Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPT.
FALCONER – James L. Guthrie Jr., 46, of 121 Falconer St. was charged with second-degree harassment following an incident that occurred Feb. 26 at Waddington’s Bar on West Main Street. Police said Guthrie allegedly grabbed another male by the throat and pushed him against the wall. He was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Court.
Henry T. Reyes, 33, of 425 Hunt Road, Jamestown, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for second-degree aggravated harassment. The charge stems from an incident that allegedly occurred in February. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released to appear back at a later date.
Demarco D. Lathan, 24, of 840 E. Second St., Apt. 1, Jamestown, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for charges stemming from an accident that occurred on Jan. 13. Lathan was charged with unlicensed operator, uninsured motor vehicle and suspended registration. He was arraigned in Ellicott Court and released to appear back in court at a later date.
Crystal D. Fehlman, 37, of 10 Allegheny Drive, Apt. 10, Warren, was arrested on a warrant for petit larceny following an incident that occurred on Jan. 9 at Wal-Mart. Police said Fehlman allegedly stole merchandise and then returned the item, She is due in Busti Court for arraignment on March 14.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
JAMESTOWN – Bradley Schauman, 24, of Valleyview Avenue, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Schauman was stopped on Tuesday for a traffic infraction in the town of Ellicott. Police allegedly observed marijuana on Schauman’s passenger seat. He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ASHFORD – Frank M. Quagliana IV, 23, of 8361 West Main Road, Westfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI common law and failure to keep right. Quagliana was stopped at 1:56 a.m. on March 2 on Route 219 in the town of Ashford for failure to keep right. He was found to be intoxicated. Quagliana was released with appearance tickets.
HINSDALE – Dylon E. Howard, 19, of 3869 Canal Street, Apt. B, Hinsdale, was taken into custody on a bench warrant. She was turned over to Olean police for processing.
OTTO – Jonathan R. Huchingson, 26, of 9206 Cattaraugus-Otto Road, Otto, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Huchingson was stopped on Feb. 28 and found to have a stolen motorcycle in a UHaul truck. He was arraigned and remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.
PORTVILLE – Rachel Y. Slawiak, 22, of 4 Wellington Drive, Portville, was taken into custody on March 2 for an active bench warrant. She was turned over to Olean police for processing.
ALLEGANY – Cheryl M. Collins, 51, of 3897 Old State Road, Allegany, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and failure to keep right. Collins was taken to Allegany Court, processed and released.
