LITTLE VALLEY – Lori Pettit Reiman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court, before Judge Ronald D. Ploetz, on Tuesday, Feb. 25:

Kwane J. Weakfall, 23, of Olean pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary, a class D felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. On Oct. 2, 2012, in Olean, Weakfall entered a building with the intent to commit a crime. He will be sentenced May 20.

George M. Englehardt, 26, of Machias pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a class A misdemeanor, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, to satisfy a pending indictment. On March 4, Englehardt had stolen property and was driving at a time he knew his driver’s license had been revoked due to a prior alcohol-related conviction. He will be sentenced May 20.

David J. Fie, 49, of Olean waived indictment and pleaded guilty by Superior Court Information to one count of fourth-degree welfare fraud, a class E felony. Between September 2011 and November 2011, in Olean, Fie obtained public assistance benefits valued at more than $1,000 to which he was not entitled. He will be sentenced May 20.

Rachel N. Adams, 22, of Allegany waived indictment and entered a guilty plea by Superior Court Information to one count of fifth-degree welfare fraud, a class A misdemeanor. Between April 2011 and May 2012, in Olean, she obtained public assistance benefits to which she was not entitled. She will be sentenced May 20.

Lawrence W. Mohr, 25, of Cattaraugus was sentenced to 10 years probation and restitution for his conviction of third-degree rape, a class E felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. The indictment charged that between Jan. 6, 2012, and Jan. 8, 2012, in Salamanca, Mohr had sexual intercourse with a person less than 17 years of age.

Franklin W. Hoff, 35, of Olean was arraigned and pleaded innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class C felonies, and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class D felonies. On June 22, 2012, and May 24, 2012, in Olean, Hoff allegedly had a dihydrocodeinone with acetaminophen with the intent to sell them. The case was adjourned 45 days for motions.

Sean M. Galmer, 23, of Olean was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class B felonies, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies. On April 19, 2012, and Jan. 16, 2013, in Olean, Galmer allegedly had heroin with the intent to sell it. The case has been adjourned 45 days for motions.

Matthew W. Kirkwood, 37, current address unknown but presently in the Cattaraugus County Jail, was sentenced to one year in the county jail to run concurrent for his conviction of menacing a police officer, a class D felony. On May 16, 2012, in Great Valley, Kirkwood pointed a gun at a police officer while the officer was on duty. Kirkwood was also sentenced to one year in the county jail to run concurrently for his conviction of second-degree criminal contempt. On Oct. 20, 2012, in Salamanca, he violated a valid order of protection.

Thomas D. Doner, 33, of Salamanca was arraigned and entered a plea of innocent in connection to an indictment handed up by a Cattaraugus County Grand Jury charging him with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, class B felonies, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, class B felonies. On May 24, 2012, in Salamanca, Doner allegedly had and sold morphine. The case has been adjourned for 45 days for motions.
