JPS Board To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the board room at 197 Martin Road for its regular meeting. The public is invited to attend.
Lakewood Legion To Host Breakfast
The Lakewood American Legion will host a grandslam breakfast Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. It consists of herring breakfasts; or eggs, sausage, ham, toast, coffee and homefries; or homemade blueberry pancakes, all you can eat. The cost is $6. Children 10 and under eat free. The Department of Planning & Economic Development is providing an update on the progress of Chautauqua 20/20, a comprehensive plan for the county adopted almost two years ago by community, civic and business leaders. Lupus Group To Hold Workshop
CHEEKTOWAGA – The Lupus Alliance of Upstate New York will hold a workshop for Lupus patients at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the office of Rheumatology Consultants of Western New York, 3615 Seneca St., West Seneca. Slesk To Serve
A Mission In City
Elder Jake Slesk, the son of Tim and Jill Slesk of Bellingham, Wash., will serve a mission at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, 851 Forest, Jamestown. Slesk stated that he loved Jamestown and when asked what he expected to accomplish while here, he said he wants to help bring others to Christ.
Randolph EMS To Hold Bill Talk
Randolph Regional EMS (RREMS) will be having a public informational meeting with the billing company responsible for billing recipients of services rendered by RREMS on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Randolph Fire Hall. The public is invited to attend, as there will be a representative from the billing company to answer questions.
Ripley Board To Meet Thursday
RIPLEY – The Ripley Central School board will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Ripley Central School cafeteria. Board members will discuss contractual issues related to the tuitioning plan and any other items that come before the board. The public is welcome to attend.
