Jamestown Man Arrested For Selling Crack Cocaine
A Jamestown man is in Chautauqua County Jail following an investigation into crack cocaine sales in the city.
Miguel A. Camacho, 50, was charged Tuesday with felony third-degree sale of a controlled substance, Capt. Robert Samuelson of the Jamestown Police Department said in a news release. The charge is the result of a several-month-long investigation by Jamestown police and New York State Police.
According to Samuelson, police on Tuesday at 2 p.m. executed a search warrant on Camacho’s 215 Winsor St. residence. Camacho was taken into custody at that time. He was arraigned and committed to County Jail.
Samuelson said the investigation is ongoing and noted more arrests are expected.
Police are asking anyone with information of illegal drug sales to call the Jamestown Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 483-8477.
