Red Cross To ‘Savor The Flavor’ In March
The Southwestern New York Chapter of the American Red Cross will host several Savor the Flavor events in March.
The events are an opportunity for local restaurateurs and caterers to show off their culinary specialties to members of the community. A “Taste of Allegany County” will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Cuba VFW; the “Taste of Cattaraugus County” will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Olean Elks Lodge; and the “Taste of Chautauqua County” will be from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.
Tickets are $25 for each event, or $60 for all three, and will include specialty soups, hors d’oeuvres, meats and desserts as well as have the opportunity to taste local wine and beer. In the seven years of our Savor the Flavor event, the cost has not increased.
Sponsors are welcome. Sponsors support the American Red Cross with their donations and in return, receive an advertisement in the Savor the Flavor program and tickets to the event.
In the past years, each event has had more than 15 restaurants/caterers along with more than 250 people participating.
