Luncheon Set For Wednesday

SALAMANCA – A pot luck luncheon will be enjoyed by members of the Salamanca AARP Chapter 844 at their next meeting on Wednesday, March 6, at noon at the Salamanca Senior Center, 18 Main St., Salamanca. Place settings will be provided. Special guests will include John Sheehan, executive director, and Jenny Ingrao, director of membership events of the Seneca Salamanca Chamber of Commerce. Members are urged to make reservations with Rosetta Quattrone, 945-1843, for the next board meeting, which will be held on March 20 at noon at the Pyramid Inn.

To Meet Monday

The monthly board meeting of the Fluvanna Free Library will be held Monday at 6 p.m. in the library. The library will now be open on the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all other Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Frewsburg Board To Meet Monday

FREWSBURG – The Frewsburg Central School Board of Education will hold a special board meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the superintendent’s office. The public is welcome to attend. The board will discuss a $208,500 bid by H.H. Rauh Contracting Co. for a building project at Robert H. Jackson Elementary School.

After-Prom

Meeting Is Today

FALCONER – Parents of Falconer Central School juniors and seniors will meet at 6 p.m. today in the seventh grade project room for an after-prom meeting. The group needs as many parents as possible to attend to make decisions on the party for this year. Also, all junior and senior parents should send in pictures for the collages. They can be brought to Rosie Digirolamo in the school’s health office. Parents of underclassman are invited to participate.

County Planning To Meet Tuesday

WESTFIELD – The next meeting of the Chautauqua County Planning Board has been scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Westfield Village Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield. If you should have questions regarding this meeting, please contact the Chautauqua County Planning Department at 661-8900.

Workshop Set For Wednesday

ASHVILLE – A homeowner education workshop on septic systems will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Hewes BOCES Center, Building A, Route 394, Ashville. Presentations will include speakers from the Chautauqua Lake Management Commission, Chautauqua County Health Department and Onsite Engineering LLC. The event is sponsored by Cornell University, Chautauqua County Planning Department, Chautauqua County Health Department and the Chautauqua Lake Management Commission.
